塞罕坝，蒙语意为“美丽的高岭”。清末的过度开垦，使这里变成了一片荒漠，是造成北京数十年沙尘暴的罪魁祸首。但是，如今塞罕坝已经成为守卫京津的重要生态屏障，它要肩负着保护北京春天的责任，为生活在北京的人们提供美好而温暖的春天。
